It’s been a while since I have posted anything related to organizing and admittedly, this post is a combination of organization and personal information. If you’ve been checking out my website over the last couple of weeks, you may have noticed on the home page that I’m pregnant! Almost as soon as we found out the good news and that everything with baby was ok, I immediately thought about what would happen with Harmonic Spaces. I shouldn’t really be lifting things or moving things too often, so I decided to put the physical organizing on hold until Fall 2017 while still performing photo scanning jobs as they come in. Photo scanning obviously doesn’t require me to lift and move heavy boxes (unless your boxes of photos are really big – but usually not) so I felt it was wise to keep up this section of the business in the meantime.
Having said that, I’ve decided to put together a 3-day decluttering dare where you choose a small space in your home and I guide you on how to deal with it over a 3-day period. This was designed to help you understand the process of decluttering and organizing in a small scale so you could feel comfortable moving onto bigger projects. I wanted to ensure I provided my readers with some valuable information while I couldn’t physically be helping them. The 3-day dare covers analysis, sorting and organizing to suit you and your family. Everyone is in a unique situation however, so it may not work the same for everyone but I’m always open and available to questions you may have during that 3-day period of time.
This information was initially intended to be shared earlier in November but life got in the way and I somehow became unorganized between singing lessons, preparing for Christmas Craft Fair season (I sell my nature photography in various formats through Coral Tree Photography and have been busy creating art for each event), the many doctor’s appointments, my full-time job and spending time with my husband. How I hate to admit that I’ve become unorganized however, I think it’s safe to say that we are all human and nobody is perfect. So don’t be too hard on yourself either if you don’t get through the 3-day dare as soon as you’d like!
This 3-day dare is still coming though and it’s in the form of videos. They’re nothing fancy so I hope you don’t expect anything fancy but I do hope they are useful to you. The videos have been filmed and slight editing is currently in the works so I’m hoping to get them posted on my website very soon!
I also want you to know that even though I’m a bit busy right now while also preparing for the upcoming Christmas holiday season, I’m still available to answer questions you may have .Whether they be general questions about organizing or questions about the 3-day dare, please feel free to e-mail me at any time and ask! I’ll do my best to get back to you as soon as possible. Send me an e-mail or even send me your thoughts on your personal organizing journey to-date! I’d love to hear all about it!
